Bob brings 35 years of operating experience to the LNK team. Prior to joining LNK, Bob held senior posts, including Chief Financial Officer, at the Yankee Candle Company, Star Markets Company, and Staples Inc. During his seven-year tenure at Yankee, Bob developed financial systems and IT infrastructure to support the opening of 287 new company-owned retail locations, and managed the company’s initial public offering by raising $225 million for the company and selling shareholders.

At Star Markets, Bob organized debt financing for the leveraged acquisition of Star Market by Investcorp, and during his four-year tenure, helped company revenues increase from $814 million to $1.1 billion (34%) and operating profit (EBITDA) increase from $40.9 million to $54 million (33%). As Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Staples, Inc., the leading national office products specialty retailer, Bob served as a key member of the company’s Management Committee, developing business plans and strategies, and establishing tactical priorities that helped company revenues increase from $97.5 million to $2 billion and store base increase from 17 to 350 stores over six years.

Bob is currently on the Board of Directors Spyder Active Sports, Philosophy, and Tufts Health Plan.
