Bob brings 35 years of operating experience and 6 years of private equity experience to the LNK team. Prior to joining LNK, Bob held senior posts, including the Chief Financial Officer position at Yankee Candle, Star Markets, and Staples (NASDAQ: SPLS). During his 7-year tenure at Yankee, Bob developed the finance and IT organization infrastructures to support the company's overall growth, which included the opening of 287 new company-owned retail locations, and managed the company’s initial public offering by raising $225 million for the company and selling shareholders. He was also a Director of Yankee Candle.

At Star Markets, Bob organized debt financing for the leveraged acquisition of Star Markets by Investcorp, and during his 4-year tenure, helped company revenues increase from $814 million to $1.1 billion (34%) and operating profit (EBITDA) increase from $40.9 million to $54 million (33%). As Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Staples, the leading national office products specialty retailer, Bob served as a key member of the company's Management Committee, developing business plans and strategies, and establishing tactical priorities that helped company revenues increase from $97.5 million to $2 billion and store base increase from 17 to 350 stores over 6 years. Bob was Chief Financial Officer and key member of the team that managed the company's initial public offering in 1989.

Bob is currently on the Board of Directors of Au Bon Pain, Hudson Jeans, Second Time Around, and Tufts Health Plan.
