Inc. has again recognized LNK Partners in their annual Founder-Friendly Private Equity Firms list. The list highlights private equity and venture capital firms with a track record of success backing entrepreneurs. This is the second year in a row that Inc. has included LNK on this roster.

Inc.‘s Founder-Friendly Investor list comprises firms identified by our editors or submitted to us through an application process. To confirm those firms’ commitment to investing in entrepreneur-led companies, we gather data on how their portfolio companies have grown and extensively interview entrepreneurs, including those who’ve exited, on their experiences with the firms. On that basis, we produce a proprietary score that determines the private equity, growth equity, and venture capital firms whose missions most significantly support startups and the men and women who found them.

Over LNK’s history, approximately two-thirds of their investments have been in founder-led businesses. As a partner to founders, they work hard to provide support whenever and wherever it is needed. Sometimes that assistance comes in the form of helping to determine high-level strategic priorities. In other instances it may mean providing help with the execution of tactical initiatives. In all situations, LNK is not interested in “running the business,” but rather in partnering with great management teams and then working hard to support them in any way possible as they build outstanding consumer and retail companies.
